Built a full-stack e-commerce website for my vintage clothing brand. Designed visual identity, architected user flows, and developed the site—using Claude as a strategic design partner to accelerate problem-solving.

Role: UX/UI Designer & Front-End Developer

Defining User Needs

My experience selling at Flea Markets and on Depop allowed me to identify key user goals:

Users want to:

  • Browse curated collections quickly

  • View products without excessive navigation

  • Request styles without having to thrift themselves

  • Access inventory that reflects real-time availability

AI-Assisted Design Exploration

Rather than using AI solely for coding, I treated Claude as a design collaborator.

I used Claude to:

  • Brainstorm information architecture

  • Explore navigation patterns

  • Generate multiple layout concepts

  • Evaluate usability tradeoffs

  • Rapidly prototype interface ideas

  • Translate UX decisions into production-ready code

This iterative workflow allowed me to quickly test ideas while maintaining responsibility for design decisions and user experience outcomes.

Outdated inventory is a common pain point for vintage businesses that rely on places like Instagram for selling. Integrating Shopify inventory data ensured customers always viewed accurate product availability.

Instead of scrolling through all products together, visitors browse 5 curated categories. This signals intentionality and reduces decision fatigue.

Thrifting isn’t for everyone — but shopping sustainably can be. Style bundles allow users to send in exactly the vibe they’re looking for without spending hours digging to find that diamond in the rough item.
